稻城縣巨龍鄉各瓦村小學原校舍已完全廢棄不用，目前學生在當地一戶家庭的帶頂棚
院子裏上課（為原豬圈改建），無電、無窗戶，現有學生18名（一、二年級各9名），
教師1名。新建學校後，未來三年預計有學生人數111人。
新校舍概況：
學校改擴建總使用面積為130平方米，有教室三間，每間30平方米；教師宿舍一間，15平方米；燒水房一間，15平方米。附屬設施有圍牆、廁所、地面硬化。學校竣工時間
為2008年6月。
The old schoolhouse for primary school of Gewa Village was totally deserted long
ago. At present students are studying in a yard with top shed in a farmer’s house
(transformed from a sty). There is no electricity, no window. Only 1 teacher and 18
students currently (grade one and grade two, 9 students for each grade). When the
new school built, it estimates that there will be about 111 students in next three
years.
New Schoolhouse Conditions:
The school has been reorganized and expanded to a total area of 130 square
meters which includes 3 classrooms, each with 30 square meters; 1 teacher's
dormitory, with 15 square meters; and a small kitchenette for boiling water, with15
square meters. Attached facilities include a school surrounding wall, lavatory, and a
cement playground. The school was completed in June, 2008.
